If I'm not wrong,"噴火龍" quite literally means "spew fire dragon" or rather, "fire spewing dragon".

Nice TF! although Arcanine isn't really a tiger. It's more like a wolf/tiger hybrid, which still works i guess.

To tell you the truth I don't exactly remember where I heard Charizard's name in Chinese. I think it was from the Chinese dub of the Pokemon anime, or maybe Bulbapedia too, most likely the former
