The end result of what is a near-complete Digital process, starting from the Bezier curves that perfectly conceal the horrid inking that usually plagues my pictures. D: I decided the Hot Wheels coloring process was too incompatible with PSPX when you're using a mouse instead of a tablet. The eyes definitely throw the entire picture off, he's supposed to be pleading to the Sheriff off-screen, not staring into the fricking sun.

Holy stickshift, a Cars OC! I've been rattling a potential fanfiction around in my head ever since I saw the Cars movie (admittedly, it's probably the first movie since the Love Bug that I actually want to see again.) This here's an '87 Fiero, middle-rank graduate of a West Coast Drifting Academy (Midships aren't as easy to drift as FrontRears, as I'm reading...) who practically crashes into Radiator Springs after practicing drifts across the backroads and a few failed attempts at getting into the local street racing community. The rest...I'm still thinking up, but it involves undercover cops is all I'll say.

Rafey's primary flaw is that he tends to literally flame up when he pushes his engine too hard or simply gets really tense (angry or afraid), the former much easier to do than the latter.

Original Lineart can be found HERE. If you want to try your hand at coloring it, feel free to do so, just know that the lineart has been slightly altered (notably in the back where the roof meets the spoiler) in the current version.

EDIT: Removed CARS logo and preview image to allow it to be included on the Radiator Springs club website.

Yeah, I tried drifting an 85 Fiero GT...I was almost there, until MR Complex kicked in. BUT I saved it with one hand!

It's awesome to see a Fiero Cars OC! Maybe one will be in Cars 2?

Shoulda been a Fiero in Cars.

Definitely one of the most underrated cars of all time.

actually the first batch of 1984 fieros were the only ones to "flame up" when they were pushed haha, and that was a small few. Dad owns a pretty lot of these cars :-D. Nice 1987 GT though. V-6 :-P
