A gijinka now identified as Darkrai has been reported viciously "attacking" citizens across the city over the past few days. His current residence is unknown.

His M.O. is to pick a certain day - forensics has determined these are "new moon" nights - and camouflage himself by literally hiding as a shadow. Once he has the unsuspecting victim in his sights, he is reported to have followed them to their residences and encased them in a Dark Void in which the victims appear to have terrible nightmares.

Those that have been able to wake up from these nightmares (either through their own efforts, the natural process of time or - in most cases - through paramedic assistance) are known to suffer from intense psychological and emotional trauma, though the only known physical trauma is [classfied data redacted].

If you see any suspicious-moving shadows across the city, please call the GCPD with your whereabouts immediately. Otherwise, avoid sparsely-lit areas and keep a night light on...though reports of daylight attacks - while the new moon is still technically out - are also coming in as well...

But seriously, it's not so much a "bite" as he likes to start with a tender, gentle nibble-licking of your neck. Either way, the nightmares Darkrai will give you won't be fun. For you, anyway.

This is probably the first time in a shitlong time that I've actually put effort into a background. Even if it is mainly vectorizing a large picture of the local skyline. I actually started with the smokestack that Damien is standing on and thought I'd settle for some cheap stock photo cloud cover...but then I got the idea for the city at work. Oh, and I love the way the Max Payne rain effect came out.
